SCREEN PRINTING

Anything from a minimum of 10 garments, this is a cost effective durable option. Garments can be T-shirts, Hoodies, longsleeve tops, jackets, bags, or any other flat fabrics.

Prices are calculated based on the number of colours in the print, quantity of garments to be printed as well as the number of print locations.

There are a number of processes involved, starting with Art preparation. Whether you already have a high quality vector file for your graphics, a low quality file or just a sketch, our graphics department will let you know if any work is required. Once the file is ready for print, the graphic is separated by colour, and printed to film.

The graphic is then exposed in a dark room using light sensitive emulsion to produce a stencil on a screen that ink is passed through to the garment.

Screen printing inks allow accurate colour matching using the Pantone colour system, which is the industry standard and includes almost 2000 colours. Ideally you will be able to supply us with the Pantone coated code for each colour in your graphic. However if this is not possible we will use our graphics program to as accurately as we can match your colours to a pantone, which we can then show you in our pantone swatch book. We also offer special ink effects, such as puff ink which raises the print to give a 3D effect, metallic inks, florescent inks as well as half tone print effects, which is a method that simulates full colour printing using a limited number of colours.

Once all these processes are complete we are ready to print your garments.

We know that not all jobs fit within the screen printing box so we will assess your needs and point you in the right direction. For smaller print runs, graphics with multiple colours, or tricky locations we have other options we can suggest.

Heat Press Vinyl

Heat transfer vinyl is the process of reproducing an image on vinyl by cutting the graphic by computer and plotter then transferring it to fabric using high temperature and pressure. Vinyl transfers can be used for 1 to 2 colour graphics, great for individual names or numbers. We use premium vinyl and adhere at high temps and pressure which produce very durable prints which are a great option when screen printing does not fit. Specialty vinyls are also available such as metallics and fluorescence.

Supacolour Prints

Supacolour is a reasonably new technology using a hybrid of water-based and digital inks, that can reproduce complex and fine detail graphics which do not require weeding, then heat pressed onto garments. These have a much softer feel than original digitally printed images. The great thing with supacolour prints is that you can have as many colours as you want in your graphic or logo. Great for promotional products such as bags or giveaways. There is a minimum order of 10 prints for these transfers.

Solo Ink Prints

These are a great option for one offs or orders less than 10 with fine or complex detail or multiple colours. These transfers are actual ink, digitally printed onto special paper and then heat transferred to garments. Size limitation of A4.

EMBROIDERY

Is the process of reproducing your graphic or logo in thread, to give a high quality look. It starts with your graphic or logo being digitalized into a form that the embroidery machine recognizes. This digitalization is a one off fee charged for set up and stored on file for any further orders. Your artwork is then colour matched to the closest thread colour. Before we start your job we run a sample of your graphic or logo for sign off of quality and colours before production begins.

Embroidery is great for heavy jackets, workwear or business attire, particularly good for polo shirts and hats. Hardwearing for garments that need a lot of washing or wear and tear. Suits small to medium sized logos with limited detail and colour. Price is calculated on quantity, garment type, number of positions and graphic or logo size.
